RYAN CROSS
is a name that is synonymous with musical excellence and multi faceted professionalism (bassist, cellist, composer, and contractor). Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Ryan moved to Los Angeles when he received a full scholarship to attend the University of Southern California where he studied under Grammy awarded musician John Clayton. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies.
This year, Ryan received Grammy recognition for playing Bass on Beyoncé’s Grammy Award –winning album Lemonade. He has also graced the recording studio and stage with Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Stevie Wonder, Michael Bublé, Meghan Trainor, Arturo Sandoval, Natalie Cole, Jill Scott, John Legend, Macy Gray, Gladys Knight, and Chaka Khan amongst others.
Ryan has appeared, recorded and contracted on over 100 TV shows and movies to date, including Glee, The Voice, American Idol, All American, Hart of Dixie, Criminal Minds, Jane the Virgin, NCIS, Friends, ER, The West Wing, Big Bang Theory, Cold Case, Along Came Polly and Poseidon.
Ryan produces live shows weekly at the world renowned Delilah and Sofitel Hotel in Los Angeles where he features the world's top musicians and vocalists.
He is also a major advocate for music and has, for several years, maintained a strong relationship with the The Los Angeles Jazz Society and continues his outreach to many schools in the Los Angeles' Unified School District to spark the interest of children to play music.
